indian head massage: try this relaxing and rejuvenating treatment style

The art of Indian Head Massage has been practiced for 1000's of years, and originated from Ayurveda, the ancient Indian System of seeking improved wellness. This Sanskrit word Shirodhara comes from the two words "shiro" (head) and "dhara" (flow). The Ayurvedic approach to health is the balance of the body, mind and spirit and the overall promotion of a long life.

It is an experience of total relaxation that focuses on the face, head, neck, shoulders, upper back and arms which are important energy centers within the body. This type of treatment is very relaxing and has a balancing effect on the recipient as it helps them to release stress and tension, creating a sense of peace and well-being. There is a comforting warmed oil used for most portions of the treatment (Jojoba oil is well known for nourishing & hydrating hair and skin benefits) which is standard for this type of treatment, but this oil addition can be modified as needed / requested.

This service is in high demand, and we often have a wait list of clients to fill spaces that come up from cancellations made in advance. Please cancel your appointment at least more than 24 hours in advance if you are not committed to arriving for your reserved space. Thank you for your understanding :)
